MuniRem® provides safe, non-thermal demilitarization solutions for the neutralization and destruction of military munitions, energetic materials, and related components. From bulk explosive removal and neutralization to rendering munitions, casings, and components permanently inert, MuniRem® technology eliminates explosive hazards without detonation, open burning, or open detonation methods.

Using patented chemical reduction processes, energetic materials—including high explosives, propellants, and picrate-based compounds—are converted into stable, non-energetic, and non-hazardous end products. Munitions and associated hardware are decontaminated to stringent safety standards (including US DoD MDAS 5X where applicable), enabling safe handling, transportation, recycling, conservation, or final disposition.
